“Collective swim” in the Thermaic Gulf (video)

A tourist on the beach in Thessaloniki swam surrounded by dead mice. Where are they in the sea?

Residents of the northern capital of Greece witnessed a disgusting sight – dead mice swam in the waters of the Thermaikos Gulf. However, this did not scare the male tourist – he carelessly enjoyed the coolness of sea water, surrounded by lifeless rodents, reports voria.gr.

The phenomenon is easily explained. After the fall on Thessaloniki recent downpour a large volume of water entered the sewer system of the city. The mice simply drowned in it and “washed away” to Thermaikos. A similar picture after heavy rains, according to eyewitnesses, was observed in the past.
