Turkey, Russia and Ukraine created "special channel" for the export of Ukrainian grain

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announces the creation of an operational communication channel to quickly resolve all problems related to the export of Ukrainian grain.

Turkish newspaper reports Hurriyet, specifying that a special channel was created under the leadership of Hulusi Akar, the Minister of Defense of Turkey. The publication says that one employee from each defense ministry will be assigned to this line. Hulusi Akar expresses hope that this will quickly overcome the grain crisis. He elaborates:

“We have intensive negotiations with both Russia and Ukraine. Both sides have some reservations. We are working to remove the reservations.”

However, neither Ukraine nor Russia confirmed the information about the creation of a special communication channel.

Earlier, our publication reported that in Istanbul will be created Center for regulation of interaction between Moscow and Kyiv through the mediation of the UN and Ankara. As part of this initiative, at least 20 million tons of grain will be exported to world markets. However, according to forecasts, experts warn, the wheat harvest in Ukraine will fall by about 40%. Just over 19 million tons of wheat is expected to be harvested this year.
