About the tragedy in the capital of Germany, which occurred on one of the central shopping streets, Tauenzienstraße, the Bild newspaper reports, citing an emergency service representative. According to the publication, the Renault van crashed into people sitting at the cafe tables. According to other information, the car crashed into a shop window in a shopping area, next to the Zoo station.
A man driving a car has been arrested, according to the Athens News Agency and Reuters. The police commented briefly on the incident: “It is believed that the man crashed into a crowd of people. It is not yet known whether this was an accident or a deliberate act.”
