According to the publication, the Renault van crashed into people sitting at the cafe tables. According to other information, the car crashed into a shop window in a shopping area, next to the Zoo station.

A man driving a car has been arrested, according to the Athens News Agency and Reuters. The police commented briefly on the incident: “It is believed that the man crashed into a crowd of people. It is not yet known whether this was an accident or a deliberate act.”
