Pushkin Festival in Cyprus

A festival dedicated to the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin opened in Limassol and Nicosia in Cyprus. The event marks the Day of the Russian Language, Russian House writes on the Telegram channel.

All three days of the festival will be as intense as possible – there will be various interesting events and quests. Visitors to the holiday, the purpose of which is to popularize the Russian language in Greece, will be able to immerse themselves in the world of poetry, enjoy the unique beauty of the works of the genius of Russian literature, A.S. Pushkin.

The festival began at the monument to the Russian classic in Limassol. Everyone has the opportunity to take part in quests based on the works of the great Russian poet. Fans of his work will be able to watch the production of “Little Tragedies” in an online broadcast, which will be shown as part of the Russian House festival on June 5 on the social network. The next day, on June 6, an online screening of the feature film “Saving Pushkin” will take place.

Drafts competitions are planned at the festival, children and teenagers aged 7-14 can participate in them. In Nicosia, the Russian House invites you to the screening of the film “Scholarship Fruits” and will present the Fair of Knowledge and Creativity, informs GreekReporter.
