"earnings" on blood: 58 tons of parcels sent from the borders with Ukraine

An investigation into the activities of CDEK (a Russian operator of express delivery of documents and goods) discovered an anomalous “explosion” in the activity of shipments, which coincided with the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine.

Monitoring was carried out “Mediazone” in 13 cities located in the area of the border line of Ukraine with Belarus and Russia. Journalists took advantage of the fact that the parcel delivery service allows you to track shipments. He assigns an individual number to each order, and the shipments are registered in a single system. Thus Mediazona was able to to get data for the period from February 21 to May 20.

Suspicious parcels were found at 13 SDEK border points: in Crimean Dzhankoy and Armyansk, in Boguchar and Rossosh of the Voronezh region, in Pokrovsky of the Rostov region, in Valuyki of the Belgorod region, in Rylsk and Zheleznogorsk of the Kursk region, in Klimovo, Novozybkov, Klintsy, Unecha of the Bryansk region and Mozyr (Belarus).

The volume of suspicious parcels increased in accordance with the situation at the front and simultaneously with the withdrawal of part of the Russian troops from the Kyiv region on March 29. For comparison: on March 26, 338 kilograms were sent, on March 29 – more than a ton, and on April 2, the weight of parcels exceeded 2.5 tons. For example, more than 13 tons of suspicious cargo was sent from Klintsy (60 km from the Ukrainian border) during the period February 21-May 20, and more than 15 tons of suspicious cargo was sent from the city of Valuyki (20 km from the LPR and 30 km from the Ukrainian border).

The leader among the recipients of parcels was Yurga (Kemerovo region) – 5.8 tons of cargo went to the city with a population of 80,000 people. It is interesting that 3 military units are located in this Russian town: the 106th separate brigade of logistics, the 74th separate guards motorized rifle Zvenigorod-Berlin order of the Suvorov brigade (in Bucha, Irpen and Gostomel there were servicemen from there) and the 120th artillery brigade.

In second place among the recipients of orders is Chebarkul (Chelyabinsk region). The 6th and 239th tank regiments are stationed there. And on the third – Kyzyl, the capital of the Republic of Tyva, where the 55th separate motorized rifle brigade is located. 3.5 tons of cargo was sent here in the form of 116 parcels. Their content is striking in variety, in one case – even the Orlan drone. Judge for yourself:

Reference. Mediazona is a Russian online media outlet founded in September 2014 by Pussy Riot members Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina. “Mediazona” focuses on news coverage, analytics, columnism about the judiciary, law enforcement agencies and the penitentiary system of Russia, as well as various manifestations of the persecution of Russian citizens for their political views. The editor-in-chief of Mediazona is the former journalist of Gazeta.Ru and deputy editor-in-chief of Russkaya Planet Sergei Smirnov, and the publisher is Pyotr Verzilov. A significant part of the staff of the Russian Planet also moved into it, which was conceived by its editor-in-chief Pavel Pryanikov as a “left-liberal media”, but completely changed direction after a change in leadership. Shortly after the launch, in December 2014, Mediazona was included in the network of media partners of the British newspaper The Guardian New East. On March 6, 2022, Roskomnadzor blocked the publication’s website due to coverage of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. (Material from Wikipedia – the free encyclopedia).
