Moscow has published a list "unwanted" people they don’t want to see in Russia

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published a list of 963 US citizens who are banned from entering the Russian Federation.

The measures are taken as a response, after those taken by the United States. The long list of “undesirable” persons includes Vice President Kamala Harris, Head of State Joe Biden and his son. The full list is published on the official website of the department. The Foreign Ministry notes:

“In the context of response to the constantly imposed anti-Russian sanctions by the United States and in connection with incoming requests about the personal composition of our national “stop list”, the Russian Foreign Ministry publishes a list of American citizens who are permanently banned from entering the Russian Federation.”

Among the nearly one thousand people listed are officials, politicians, senior US officials who have been on the “stop list” since March 15: US President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley .

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stressed that Washington’s “hostile actions” are hitting the United States like a boomerang:

“The Russian counter-sanctions are forced and aimed at forcing the ruling American regime, which is trying to impose a neo-colonial “rules-based world order” on the rest of the world, to change its behavior, recognizing the new geopolitical realities.”

Moscow, the department notes, is not looking for confrontation and is open to an honest, mutually respectful dialogue. In addition, Russia is well aware of the difference between ordinary US citizens, who are treated with respect, and the authorities, inciting Russophobia. After the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, Russia faced an unprecedented expulsion of its diplomats: several hundred diplomatic representatives were expelled from different countries within three months. At the same time, personal sanctions have been adopted against many politicians and officials, in connection with which a ban was imposed on their entry into the United States and European countries.
