The Greek authorities have officially announced that they are issuing a coin dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the adoption of the first Greek constitution.
According to the decision published in the Government Gazette, a new 2 euro commemorative coin is put into circulation with the inscription: “200 YEARS FROM THE ADOPTION OF THE FIRST GREEK CONSTITUTION” (“200 ΧΡΟΝΙΑ ΑΠΟ ΤΟ ΠΡΩΤΟ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΟ ΣΑΥ”).
This coin will be minted only once in the amount of 750,000 pieces. The image on the obverse of the above coin is the same as the circulating Greek coins of this denomination, with a minting year of 2022. And on the reverse is this:
