A request for help from the cruiser Moskva was published

The Armed Forces of Ukraine made public the record of negotiations with the cruiser Moskva, where two hits are confirmed. In addition, on the recording you can hear about the need to save the crew.

The audio recording was presented by the operational command of the South of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes “Correspondent”, a request for help from the Russian cruiser Moscow is clearly audible there. The Russian radio operator informs the tugboats about two hits, the list of the ship and the need to rescue the crew:

“Moskva” 1st, two holes, the screw has become, buried, the slope is 30 degrees, it will lie on its side, I confirm – the hole is below the waterline, the bridge is cut off – it is silent, we are passively rescuing the crew.

Recall that on April 13, Ukraine attacked the cruiser Moskva. The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that the ship did not sink as a result of the “detonation of ammunition” and the fire and “retains buoyancy”:

“As a result of a fire, ammunition detonated on the Moskva missile cruiser. The ship was seriously damaged. The crew was completely evacuated.”

However, later the department admitted that the flagship of the Russian fleet had sunk.

On the evening of April 13, the head of the administration of the Odessa region, Maxim Marchenko, said in a telegram channel that the cruiser was attacked by Ukrainian-made Neptune missiles and the ship received “very serious damage.” Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, also announced a fire on the ship, without specifying what caused the fire. On the morning of March 14, he announced that the cruiser Moscow had sunk.
