For the first time, Greece is hosting one of the most legendary exercises in the world, the 60-year-old NATO Tiger Meeting 2022. The exercises are conducted by the 335th squadron of the Hellenic Air Force.
From Monday, May 9 to Friday, May 20, 2022, the 116th combat wing at the Araxos air base in the Peloponnese hosts the NATO Tiger Meeting 2022 medium-scale multinational air exercise.
NATO Tiger Meet 22 is hosted for first time by the Hellenic Air Force 335 Squadron, Greece 🇬🇷@NATO members🇧🇪🇫🇷🇨🇿🇮🇹🇪🇸🇳🇱🇵🇱🇵🇹🇩🇪 and partners🇨🇭🇦🇹 will fly together 9-20 May.

The purpose of the exercise is to provide quality operational training in the spirit of “train while you fight” by improving the skills and interaction of participants in complex operations.

The exercise will be conducted throughout the Athens FIR with a large number of air assets from the host country, Greece, as well as Belgium, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Spain, Poland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany and partners Switzerland and Austria.
