ΤΡΑΙΝΟΣΕ announced today the launch of new modern trains ETR470 from Sunday 15 May 2022, which run on the route Athens-Thessaloniki and Thessaloniki-Athens, the journey is less than 4 hours.

ETR470 trains have nine carriages, one of which is a restaurant and bar, three first class carriages and four economy class carriages. • The first morning train ETR470 departs Athens Station at 07:22, stopping in Larisa at 09:58 and arriving in Thessaloniki at 11:20.
• The next ETR470 route leaves Athens at 17:22, with an intermediate stop in Larissa at 20:00 and arrival in Thessaloniki at 21:21.
• The first morning route of the ETR470 train departs Thessaloniki at 07:08, stopping in Larissa at 08:09, arriving at Athens Station at 11:03.
• The next ETR470 route departs Thessaloniki at 17:08, with an intermediate stop in Larissa at 18:08, and arrives in Athens at 21:04.
