Rhizospastis: Greek communists listed on "peacekeeper"made a target of terrorists

The Greek newspaper Rizospastis, an organ of the Central Committee of the KKE, published an article on April 29, 2022, in which it reported on threats to the Greek communists with the support of the Ukrainian state.

The names and personal details of three party leaders – Deputy and Deputy Chairman of the Greek Parliament Georgos Lambroulis, former MEP Sotiris Zarianopoulos and KKE party leader Georgos Manganas – are listed on the website, which bears the cynical name “Peacemaker”, which is, in fact, a “black list” persons objectionable to certain forces in the Greek government. The site, according to its authors, publishes data on “enemies of Ukraine” and accomplices of “terrorist organizations”, “mercenaries”, etc.

Over the past five years, international human rights organizations have repeatedly criticized the Ukrainian authorities for having such a website (myrotvorets.center). It violates human rights, as well as EU laws on the disclosure of personal data of tens of thousands of people (full name, personal photo, residential address, phone number, email address), who were declared by the Ukrainian state or website administrators as “enemies of Ukraine “, accomplices of “terrorist organizations”, etc.

This website, created under the auspices of the Maidan authorities, is officially under the “suspension” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the SBU, and at the same time serves as a database that the judicial and police authorities of Ukraine still use to prosecute individuals.

Some of the people who were on this list became victims of covert and overt murders. At the same time, there were numerous complaints about threats against people on this list…

Following the posting of personal data, the government of Ukraine declared three Greek communists “undesirable persons” due to the fact that they had previously been to Ukraine in order to express solidarity with the Ukrainian people and the communists persecuted there. According to a September 2015 Presidential Decree, they are among 388 individuals and 105 legal entities sanctioned by the Ukrainian government for alleged actions against Ukraine.

Thus, the Ukrainian authorities bring grave unfounded accusations against party leaders of the KKE, including support for “terrorism” and taking actions against the “national interests and territorial integrity” of Ukraine.

It is worth noting that this is happening in Ukraine, where the Communist Party has been outlawed, communists and other activists have been persecuted, and a recent example is the unjustified arrest and imprisonment of the first secretary of the Communist Youth of Ukraine and other members. At the same time, the Ukrainian government recently outlawed 11 more opposition parties.

Of the Greeks in the “black list” are also Panagiotis Lafazanis, Andreas Zafiriris and Kostas Quixos, Stathis Stavropoulos was added to them according to the newspaper iskra.gras the Greek cartoonist expressed his support to the people of Donbass.

The newspaper RISOSPASTIS puts the following question to the Greek government: is the Greek government aware of this egregious case of KKE figures being targeted on the internet? What can it say and what is it going to do about it?

Not much is known about the site itself.

Firstly, it is neither a legal entity nor a media outlet. Therefore, the laws of Ukraine do not apply to him, as well as international jurisdiction.

Secondly, no one, including in Ukraine, knows where the editorial office of the site is located, absolutely no one knows how it is financed.

However, part of the lists is not accidentally password-protected and allegedly remains available only to members of the Ukrainian special services and border guards. Perhaps they are not there at all. The editor-in-chief of the “Peacemaker” Roman Zaitsev claims that they have 600,000 data that they share with the SBU. But it is quite possible that this is just a fake.

Thirdly, nothing is known about those who work on the site, with the exception of the name of the editor-in-chief Roman Zaitsev. But only one Ukrainian journalist, the correspondent of the Fakt newspaper, Alexander Volkov, saw him, to whom the editor-in-chief of the Peacemaker periodically gives interviews.

The Peacemaker website was registered in Canada. The server appears to be NATO HPWS/2.1, when scanning from April 6 to April 22, 2015, it gave the address psb4ukr.nato.int as a reverse domain name, that is, a subdomain of the official website of the NATO military bloc, while the NATO head domain nato.int has nothing about it does not know. The PTR record provided as a response to a reverse DNS query usually points to some location of the site in the domain name space. The PTR record is entered in the master DNS zone file when the domain system is configured. Thus, the creators of the site specifically imitated the link to NATO.
Later, the site moved to another American server, which some experts identify as a CIA data center.
