Eurovision 2022: a delegation from Greece went to Italy

Amanda Georgiadi flew to Turin on Saturday afternoon, where the 66th Eurovision Song Contest will take place from 10 to 14 May.

Our country will be represented by a 24-year-old performer with a song that has a very gloomy name – “Let’s die together” (“Die together”). The semi-final, which will be attended by Greece, which took 18th place, is scheduled for May 10.

Shortly before boarding the plane, Amanda Georgiadi (Αμάντα Γεωργιάδη) commented on why she chose to perform this particular piece. “The song is inspired by my old relationship, but it’s not just about a guy or a relationship. This is a love song. When you love someone very much, you are ready to do everything for him,” she said.

Silia Kritarioti and Fokas Evangelinos created a unique stage image (including a costume) in which the singer will appear on stage, reports iefimerida.gr. Of the Greek Eurovision participants, Elena Paparizou, Sofia Bossu and Kalomira stand out (Έλενα Παπαρίζου, την Σοφία Βόσσου και την Καλομοίρα).
