A resident of the Kallithea metropolitan area yesterday morning, around 9.30, had to endure nightmarish moments when she came face to face with robbers.
The young woman returned to her house in Kallithea and suddenly saw two robbers in front of her. Taking advantage of her confusion, the attackers tied her with a belt, gagged her so that she would not scream, and, using threats, forced her to tell where the money was.
For several minutes they scoured the house, smashing everything “to smithereens”, eventually found a small amount of money, as well as some jewelry, after which they disappeared, leaving the mistress of the house tied up, writes iefimerida.gr.
The police were notified by relatives who were looking for the woman on the phone and could not find. Rescuers and a squad of police arrived at the scene. The woman was untied and helped her. Despite investigations, the whereabouts of the perpetrators could not be established. A preliminary investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Kallithea police.
