Chania: cruise ship “Silver Spirit” arrived at the port of Souda

With the arrival of the Silver Spirit cruise liner at the port of Souda, the start of the cruise season in Crete was marked.

The luxury ship arrived at the port of Souda from Nafplio with 469 passengers, the vast majority of whom will visit the city of Chania and tourist attractions. He is expected to leave for Santorini in the afternoon.

According to the schedule, another cruise ship is expected in Souda tomorrow, Thursday, April 28, and 15 arrivals are scheduled for May and June 16, reports iefimerida.gr.

“Silver Spirit” is a luxury cruise ship operated by Silversea Cruises. The sixth ship of the Silversea fleet, launched in 2009.

Silver Spirit is equipped with 270 luxury cabins overlooking the ocean. It also has six different restaurants, an 8,300 square meter spa, and a nightclub with live music, dancing and entertainment.

Thus, the croisier “grew” from 195.8 to 210.7 meters in length. Its tonnage has increased from 36,009 GT to 39,519 GT, and its capacity has increased from 540 to 608 passengers.
