Greece: the corpse of a Russian found on the shore of the lake

The local population of Ioannina was shocked to learn that on Holy Wednesday on the shores of the picturesque lake Pamvotida, the body of a 42-year-old Russian was found.

The man, originally from Russia, lived with his 49-year-old wife in Perama and was quite well known to the locals as a modest, quiet and unproblematic person.

According to information epiruspost.gr, his traces were “lost” in the last two days (before the discovery of the body). However, according to his wife, this has happened more than once. And she, knowing about the “spree” of her husband, patiently waited for him at home, not suspecting that they would not be able to see each other again.

According to local authorities, at the moment it is not known what was the true reason for the death of a Russian (whether it was death for pathological reasons, an accident, murder, or suicide). Law enforcement agencies ordered the body to be handed over to forensic experts and are now awaiting their verdict.
