Сhina.org announces the launch of a new railway route from China to Germany, which will take you to the German city of Mannheim, bypassing Russia.
Trains run through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. With the help of combined rail and sea transportation, they cross the Caspian and Black Seas. The first train loaded with sporting goods left on April 13 from the city of Xi’an.
The regions and countries through which the route passes were practically not covered before. Xi’an-based international logistics company Zhuyang claims that the efficiency of transportation will now increase, while their cost, on the contrary, will decrease. Company manager Ja Min, writes BB.LV, notes: “This route provides our companies with the opportunity to export in the current situation.”
