Deputy Minister of Development and Investment Yiannis Tsakiris, at the suggestion of the Special Secretariat for Program Management ERDF and CF, a decree was signed on the allocation of a new non-refundable grant to help companies affected by Covid-19 and fires in 2021.
The €26 million grant program, according to the announcement, is addressed to companies of all legal forms that operate legally and operate in areas affected by natural disasters in the prefectures of Evia, Larisa and Heraklion.
The program has already been approved relevant services of the European Commission, co-financed in the context of the EU’s response to the COVID-19 React EU pandemic, for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The subsidy for each company is fixed percentage from 50% her operating expenses as they are derived from her last tax data. Particular attention is paid to companies established in the midst of a pandemic or during 2021.
The maximum grant amount is 18,000 euros per company. In all cases grant reimbursed in a lump sum with the obligation to consume within 6 months from the date of approval / accession without control of documentary costs.
The main conditions for participation in the assistance program are:
- legal activity.
- Start of work until 12/31/2021.
- Registration (headquarters, branch, etc.) in the above areas.
- Decrease in turnover by 10% between 2019 and 2021 (the criterion does not apply to companies that started operations in 2020 or 2021).
Applications are submitted to the Public Assistance Information System (PSE) of the Ministry of Development and Investment at www.ependyseis.gr only in electronic form requirements for providing a physical file supporting documents, from 12:00 05/13/2022 to 15:00 06/17/2022.
Grade submitted applications for funding is carried out by the method of a direct procedure in compliance with the priority time order.
The grant is paid out within ten days after the approval of the submitted application for funding without the obligation to submit second consecutive corresponding application.
We remind you that, as in all previous relevant actions of the Ministry of Development and Investment, the non-use of eligible grantso that the development of companies is financed through action, and not the covering of their overdue obligations to the state or third parties.
It is noted that companies are required to electronically attach a minimum of documents for submission. In particular the responsible declarations required legislation community, must contain appropriate signatures about the authenticity of the signature.
Companies’ submitted data will be compared with those already stored for them in national databases (eg Taxisnet) BEFORE the results are announced. In case of rejection of the submitted application, the company reserves the right to re-submit.
