On Holy Wednesday, April 20, 2022, the state pays an extraordinary one-time “Easter Allowance-22”, financial assistance that will “breathe” vulnerable households affected by inflation.
However, despite the initial information, which stated an increase of 50 euros – that is, up to a total of 300 euros – compared to the social dividends given out at Christmas, the latest data shows that 250 euros will be given out to 4 categories of citizens:
- low-income pensioners.
- Recipients with low income.
- People with disabilities (handicapped people).
- Married couples with children and single-parent families with low incomes.
Criteria for annual income:
- Up to 10,500 euros, the amount is 105 euros.
- 10,501 – 17,500 euros the amount is 63 euros.
- 17,501 euros – 26,250 euros the amount is 42 euros.
Family with 2 children, annual income:
- Up to 12,000 euros the amount is 210 euros.
- 12,001 – 20,000 euros the amount is 126 euros.
- 20,000 – 30,000 euros the amount is 84 euros.
Family with 3 children, annual income:
- Up to 13,500 euros the amount is 420 euros.
- €13,501 – €22,500 – €262.
- €22,501 – €33,750 – €168.
Single persons, annual income up to 7,200 euros.
Married, annual income up to 14,400 euros.
