The port of Mariupol is currently in the hands of Russian forces, according to a report shared by RIA Novosti.

Donetsk Defense Ministry spokesman Eduard Basurin said, according to a Russian agency, that ”

Earlier, the Ukrainian military said they were preparing for the “last battle” in Mariupol. This city has been under siege for more than 40 days since the start of the Russian army’s invasion of the country.
