Meeting of the Chancellor of Austria with the President of Russia in Moscow

Karl Nehammer, Federal Chancellor of Austria, will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin today. He is ready to offer himself as a neutral intermediary between Moscow and Kiev.

On Sunday, the head of the Austrian government, in an interview with reporters, noted that he would like to promote dialogue between the two countries and discuss war crimes of the Russian Federation in Ukraine with the Russian president. The visit was coordinated with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
