Tomorrow, April 6, there will be changes in the work of public transport in connection with the strike of its workers: buses will not work in the morning and evening, the metro and tram stop for 24 hours.
Tomorrow’s strike has been declared by ΓΣΕΕ and ΑΔΕΔΥ. Metro, trams and HSAP S-Bahn, trolleybuses and suburban trains will stop for the whole day, buses will operate only from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. It is expected that the full movement of buses will begin at about 9:30-10:00 in the morning, and in the evening they will gradually leave the routes after 20:00 and even earlier.
Public transport workers require in their application:
“The signing of a collective labor agreement, the strengthening of public transport, measures to prevent the impoverishment of the population, the solution of the problem of poverty and the removal of obstacles to the activities of trade unions imposed by the Hadzidakis law.”
The strike organizers are calling on workers to take part in a rally to be held in the center of the Greek capital, on Klaftmonos Square (πλατεία Κλαυθμώνος) at 11 am, writes newsbeast.gr.
