Ukrainian helicopters launched a missile attack on the oil depot in Belgorod

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that Ukrainian helicopters attacked an oil depot in Russia, flying about 40 miles unnoticed across the border.

In Belgorod, two helicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Rosneft base located in the Kreida microdistrict on Zaslonova Street. About it informed Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, footage from the scene of the incident posted local public “Auto Belgorod”.

Eight fuel tanks with a volume of 2,000 cubic meters each are on fire at the oil depot. About this, citing a source in emergency services, reports RIA News.

“There are 16 tanks in the seat of the fire. The fire is taking place in eight tanks with fuel and gasoline, occupying two thousand cubic meters each, there is a threat of the fire spreading to another eight,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

Residents of three streets adjacent to the oil depot were evacuated. At least 194 rescuers and 59 vehicles are on site. To the scene flew out Acting Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Chupriyan.

On the evening of March 29 in a village near Belgorod, 15 km from the border with Ukraine, happened explosions. Local edition “Bel.ru” wrote about the fire at the ammunition depot. The governor promised to name the cause of the explosion after the check, but did not.
