Minister of Tourism of Greece Vasilis Kikilias announced the active tourist and investment interest of the Israeli market, which presented the EOT booth at the opening ceremony of the International Tourism Exhibition IMTM 2022 in Tel Aviv. He noted that Greece is a safe country with many destinations from Tel Aviv.
In particular, the Minister of Tourism stated:We are at the very important tourism exhibition IMTM 2022 in Tel Aviv. Based on the meetings already held and the assessments that we make as the Ministry of Tourism and as the EOT, it is worth noting that the Israeli market is showing a lot of tourist and investment interest in Greece.
We are a safe country that our Israeli friends will visit this year, with multiple departure destinations from Tel Aviv. We will welcome Israeli tourists to our cities and islands, and they will have many opportunities to visit magical places.”
As we reported earlier, Greece is very hopeful for a tourism resurgence in 2022, predicting 85% of the 2019 tourist arrivals.
