Given the huge number of Ukrainians fleeing the war to other countries, Handi.ua IT company has created a unique digital assistantwhich can effectively help to adapt and quickly find out relevant information in any country in the world.
The startup of inventors was launched with the support of Google for Startups and in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The humanitarian initiative Handy Friends For Ukraine is a platform for Ukrainians around the world. It works on the basis of the messengers Viber and Telegram, which are now used the most. The platform was presented on March 23 at a press briefing organized by the International Coordination Headquarters for Assistance to Ukrainians in Warsaw by Irina Andryushchenko, co-founder of the company:
“The product will be an indispensable digital assistant for Ukrainians abroad during this difficult time. This is the Handy.ai bot, which structures all the chaotic information for Ukrainian migrants abroad and helps them adapt there without unnecessary nerves.
Now more than three million Ukrainians with children are trying to build a new life outside of Ukraine. Forced, not getting enough sleep because of the experience. Each of us knows at least a few people for whom salvation from Russian aggression in their native land has turned into a deep resettlement trauma. Everyone needs to look for medical facilities, work, school, unite in communities to maintain the spirit. And in order to help our people rebuild, hold on and move on, from the first days of the war we began to think about a product that would help with this.
You no longer need to collect crumbs of information through different channels in instant messengers, which are sure to get lost and quickly become outdated. Everything can be found in the Handy.ai bot – for both IDPs and volunteers, it is the complete basis of current opportunities. The day will come when the Bot will surely tell you how to return home.”
You can install a digital assistant on your phone link.
