The Appliance Subsidy Platform will open in a few days, with the program launching by Easter. The subsidy will be written off at the store when buying household appliances. Which old devices can be replaced:
- Refrigerators.
- Freezers.
- Conditioners.
The total amount of the subsidy will be 100 million euros and it is expected that 200,000 households will receive a discount of 30% to 50%. However, if the number of applications exceeds 200,000, the criteria (economic and social) will be tightened so that the most needy receive assistance.
Which electrical appliances are not subsidized:
- Electric stoves
- Washing machine
- Dishwashers.
How to Apply
Once the platform is open, consumers will need to apply for a subsidy program to be able to replace their old and energy-hungry devices. The application process for the electrical appliance subsidy will be done using TaxisNet codes. In addition, you will need an AFM tax number.
The person concerned will be able, either on his own, through his accountant, or at the store he wants to visit to make a purchase, to indicate the TaxisNet codes, and then indicate which particular equipment he wants to replace.
Important! Appliances to be replaced must be in working order and must be returned.
