President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced in his video message about the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to suspend the activities of a number of parties in Ukraine associated with the Russian Federation:
“Any activity of politicians aimed at a split or collaboration will not be successful, but will receive a harsh response. Therefore, the National Security and Defense Council decided: given the full-scale war unleashed by the Russian Federation and the ties of some political structures with this country, any activity of a number of political parties is suspended during martial law.”
According to “LIGA”in the list of banned parties:
- HLE
- Sharia Party
- Our
- opposition bloc
- Left opposition
- Union of the Left
- Pariah Power
- Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine
- Socialist Party of Ukraine
- Party Socialists
- Block Vladimir Saldo.
The Ministry of Justice was instructed to immediately “take exhaustive measures in accordance with the established procedure to ban the activities of these political parties that have ties with the aggressor country,” writes “Ukrainian Truth”.
