The people of Greece were shocked desecration of a monument Soviet soldier in Athens. The vandals left the inscription “Azov” on it, reminiscent of the Azov regiment, in which the Nazis gathered from many countries of the world and the symbolism of the “wolf hook” (Wolfsangel), which was the symbol of the 4th SS Police Division and the 2nd SS Panzer Division “Reich”.
That evening, not indifferent Greeks living in Kallithea came to the monument and washed away this abomination by placing the flag of Greece at the monument as a defense against Nazism.
