Lottery: lucky winner from Patras who won 1.1 million euros still has not been found

Unbelievable but true. The winner of the “People’s Lottery”, who won 1,151,200 euros in the draw held on March 1, has not appeared.

As noted, the player bought his lottery ticket Λαϊκό Λαχείο at the OPAP branch in Patras.

“The lucky one didn’t show up. However, we are very glad that we brought good luck to one of our clients, as a result of which he will be able to change his life a little for the better. Of course, when he shows up and comes to pick up the winnings,” emphasizes Ms. Maria Russopoulou, who works at OPAP (Patras).

“In about four years of work, I discovered that the public has its own lucky numbers and does not change them (from time to time continuing to bet on certain numbers). There are people who only win the lottery. All these years, the game has had its own stable audience,” explains Ms. Russopoulou.

Another lucky winner won 300,000 euros in Kalamata

A week later, another winner was determined in the draw held on March 8, who won 300,000 euros, writes dikaiologitika.gr.

The owner of the OPAP (Kalamata) branch, Mr. Dimitris Zacharopoulos, states: “I don’t know who was lucky, but I’m happy for him. The ticket for the “People’s Lottery” (Λαϊκό Λαχείο) was purchased at our branch. This was the 10th draw, which took place on March 8th. May good luck accompany you. In the past, we have already given out large amounts of winnings in the JOKER, KINO and SCRATS lotteries.”

According to Mr. Zacharopoulos, “Λαϊκό Λαχείο is one of the most historical OPAP games. People play differently. Someone buys the entire series, and someone asks for a single ticket. As experience shows, both of them were lucky.”
