Arrest of drug dealers who traded on the territory of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki

The Anti-Drug Prosecutor’s Office of Thessaloniki carried out operational activities around and on the territory of the Aristotle University with the assistance of the OPKE. The police operation was carried out in the morning and at noon on Tuesday (15.03), arrests were made.

During the events, Albanian citizens aged 27 to 31 were arrested, among whom was the alleged leader of a criminal group. An investigation by a special group of police officers led to the identification of persons involved in drug trafficking. The criminal group had a specific hierarchy, and the “small fry” played certain roles. The three detainees put up strong resistance to the police, who tried to handcuff them. According to parallaximag.grthere were no injuries.

All detainees are foreigners. These are citizens of Albania and Algeria aged 27 to 31, including the alleged leader of this group.

During a search of the house where the two of them lived, they seized, among other things, twelve small packages of marijuana, a small package of cocaine, an electronic scale and money, which appeared to be related to drug trafficking.

During the same operation, seven other people (local residents) who had previously purchased raw cannabis from drug dealers were arrested.
