Greek Red Cross sends humanitarian aid and mobile medical team to Ukraine

The Greek Red Cross is sending even more humanitarian aid to Ukraine while continuing to provide practical support to war victims, according to a statement on Tuesday.

Three trucks with 40 tons of humanitarian aid left on Tuesday morning from the central warehouse gRiver Red Cross in Athens and went to Siret on the Romanian-Ukrainian border, and from there to Chernivtsi in Ukraine. It is reported that the aid will be delivered directly to the Ukrainian Red Cross.

Along with humanitarian aid, Ukraine will also send mobile medical brigade of the red cross with professional nurses and a rescue vehicle manned by volunteer rescuers.

The Greek Red Cross thanked members of the public, companies and organizations from all over Greece for their huge and touching response to the call to help those affected by the war.
