Cancellation of PLF for passengers arriving in Greece from abroad

From today, March 15, the PLF (Passenger Locator Form) is canceled for all international passengers entering Greece.

Previously, a similar NOTAM was urgently issued for Ukrainiansarriving in Greece on international flights. However, the vaccination certificate remains mandatory for all passengers, and special attention will be paid to its verification.

With the introduction of the new aviation directive, all passengers arriving from any foreign origin do not finally need to complete an electronic PLF form before arriving in Greece.

Making a decision, as writes newsbeast.gr, preceded by a recommendation from an expert committee of the Ministry of Health, adopted this month. Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias says:

“The abolition of the PLF simplifies the entry process for travelers by shifting the focus to the control of vaccination certificates. In addition, the adoption of new medical protocols for travel operators puts Greece one step ahead of the competition. We are ready to welcome visitors to our country safely for another year.”
