The price of gas has reached a new historical record in the European market – 345 euros per MWh.

Oil prices have risen, in addition to the rise in gas prices
The price of oil rose sharply due to the situation in Ukraine. The price of a barrel of Brent oil – one of the benchmarks in the international crude oil market – today approached $140, that is, its historical maximum of $147.5, which it reached in 2008.
Shortly after the start of electronic trading on the international commodity markets at 01:00 (Greek time), the price of Brent crude oil for May delivery, the benchmark contract, reached $139.13 per barrel, after which it fell slightly.
At around 02:00 AM (Greek time), prices rose about 10.44% to $130.45. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the price of Brent crude has risen by 33%.
As for the other benchmark oil, West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the main US oil export, the price of a barrel for April delivery reached $130.5. At 02:30, it rose by 8.18% to $125.15.
