Incredible footage of 28 cars colliding at Egnatia Odos, 15 injured.
At least 15 people were injured in an unprecedented accident on one of the major highways of Greece, Egnatia Odos. Almost three dozen cars were seriously damaged, and among the victims, according to www.kozanimedia.gr two pregnant women.
The injured were taken to the Mamacio Hospital in Kozani (Μαμάτσειο Νοσοκομείο Κοζάνης) by ambulances.
The incident occurred due to poor visibility in thick fog.
The amount of damage caused to cars cannot be overestimated. Some of them are unlikely to be restored.
