The Greek Ministry of Immigration and Asylum has announced temporary protection for refugees arriving from Ukraine for a year. If necessary, this period may be extended up to three years.
The Greek state will grant Ukrainian refugees the right to access the labor market and medical care. Citizens of Ukraine with travel documents enter Greece through any point of entry, without the obligation to issue a visa. However, those without travel documents can only enter through the Bastion Passport Control Department.
