The three day weekend is coming up. For whom is a rapid test mandatory, and for whom is a high-protection mask?
The people of Greece are looking forward to Shrovetide weekend and Clean Monday. On Saturday, the use of masks in the open air is canceled, writes in.gr.
After two years of the pandemic, many will choose to travel by bus, train, ship or plane. Citizens should be careful, however, as many of the coronavirus restrictions are still in place.
When is a rapid test needed?
Persons who have not been vaccinated, or those who have been vaccinated with two doses and seven months have passed after that, need to have a certificate (negative rapid test result) with them.
Vaccinated adults still need to have a certificate of vaccination or illness and can travel by any means (air, train, bus, ferry).
A mask is required in transport
Only KTEL passengers need a KN95 high protection mask or a double mask.
The obligation to wear a high-protection mask has not been announced for travel by train, ship or plane.
