The Greek government has fined more than 300,000 unvaccinated citizens over 60 years of age despite economic problems due to energy prices and global instability due to Russia’s war in Ukraine.
For January, fines were imposed on 317,962 people over 60 years of age, and each will have to pay 50 euros, since this measure was introduced from January 15.
In the coming days, a fine for February will be issued, declared Secretary General of Primary Health Care Marios Themistocleous during the weekly vaccination briefing on Monday evening.
This fine will already be 100 euros.
PS The world as we know it is collapsing, the government welcomes the end of the pandemic in the spring and summer, from Saturday we say goodbye to masks on the street, and the rest of the restrictions should be lifted by mid-March, and now the fine. Are they serious?
