The citizens of Greece are very concerned about the events taking place in Ukraine, as the Russian invasion of the country continues for the fifth day.
This follows from the Pulse survey on behalf of SKAI, the newspaper writes. in.gr.
In particular, the vast majority (80%) say they are “very concerned” and “very concerned” about the current tense situation.
In addition, the number of Greeks who believe that the Russian invasion of Ukraine will “strongly affect” and will “significantly affect” the Greek economy also reaches 80%.
Regarding government initiatives to combat rising energy prices, 42% believe that the authorities are moving “in the right direction, but more attention needs to be paid to this”, and 47% respond that the state is moving “in the wrong direction.”
Finally, when asked “how do you assess the attitude and proposals of the official opposition to the issue of raising energy prices”, 38% assess them positively, and 51% – negatively.
