Armed robbery of money transfer point

At noon on Tuesday, March 1, employees of the Property Crime Department detained 5 local residents for robbing a money transfer point, which took place around 9 am on Varnava Square in the Pagrati district of the capital.

According to the post ΕΛΑΣ, detained 46, 48, 49, 51 and 53 years old, they are members of a criminal organization. They found firearms and a large amount of money.

At gunpoint, two attackers immobilized the guards and took an unspecified amount of money out of the money transfer office. From the scene, the robbers fled in a car, which was taken from the woman at gunpoint, forcing her to leave her personal vehicle.

The police immediately started chasing. As a result, the perpetrators were arrested.
