Four more Greek expatriates died in eastern Ukraine after Russian bombing, a few minutes ago skai.gr.
They died in another village, Bugas, north of Mariupol, not far from the front line. As a result, the number of Greeks killed in air attacks reached six.
Earlier, our publication reported that in the village of Sartana in Ukraine, located about 10 kilometers from the center of Mariupol, during the bombing two Greeks died. The Greek Foreign Ministry protests. The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the bombing, which killed two Greek civilians and injured six, including a child.
At the behest of Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, General Secretary Themistoklis Demiris issued a strong protest in a telephone call to the embassy. The Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Athens has been invited to the Greek Foreign Ministry tomorrow.
At the same time, as reported alfavita.gr, The Embassy of the Russian Federation refuted the statements of the Greek Foreign Ministry, stating that Russian forces did not operate in Sartana today and asserts that the Russian army does not bomb civilian areas, and that there were no bombings in Sartana: “We do not bomb residential areas, villages, or any or political or social infrastructure.”
