A formal offer of surrender was sent to Kiev by Moscow, which stated that it was ready to negotiate terms. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia is ready to negotiate with Vladimir Zelensky and reach a surrender agreement:
The President is ready to state what he expects from Ukraine, putting a red line on the problems that have arisen. The Russian president’s proposals concern a neutral regime and the demilitarization of the country.
According to a Kremlin spokesman, Vladimir Putin is ready to negotiate with his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky to set his own terms and withdraw Russian troops from Ukraine in return. He expressed his vision of solving the problems, the so-called “red line”: “This is a neutral regime and a refusal to develop weapons.” Peskov states as he writes newsbreak.gr:
At present, there is no threat to the security of the country and the Russian people. The President said that all decisions had been made. A military operation has its goals, and these goals must be achieved.
Peskov added that the Russian president would set a timetable for talks, and they would only start if Zelensky was ready.
Meanwhile on the official website Ministry of Defense Ukraine published data as of 09:00 today, February 25. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed: 7 aircraft, 6 helicopters, more than 30 tanks, 130 armored vehicles, approximately 800 enemy personnel.
