Greece introduced a 3-month ban on flights using Ukrainian airspace

The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) imposed a three-month ban on the use of civil aircraft in the airspace controlled by Ukraine.

In a statement released on Thursday, the CAA refers to a relevant decision by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), also taken on February 24, 2022.

According to the State Aviation Administration, the ban on flights using FIR over the border areas of Ukraine and Russia is valid from February 24 to May 24, 2022.
