A group of fans attacked and severely beat a 22-year-old boy, a resident of Elefsina.
“Showdowns” between football fans do not stop, even after the sensational case of murder of 19-year-old Alkis Campanoswhich shocked the entire Greek society.
Before the investigation was completed and the violent bullies who ended the student’s life were brought to justice, another 22-year-old was hospitalized after being severely beaten in Elefsina by a group of fans.
According to the Greek edition newsbreak.gr, a group of 15 people attacked a 19-year-old and a 22-year-old teenager on Saturday night on Kanellopulu Street. The attackers attacked young people, the 19-year-old got a blow to the face. He managed to escape from the angry thugs armed with brass knuckles. However, the 22-year-old boy suffered a different fate, he received strong blows all over his body.
The attackers, seeing how a 22-year-old guy fell unconscious on the pavement, bleeding, robbed the man who was lying, taking a mobile phone and money. As it became known, the criminals fled the scene in three cars.
The 22-year-old victim was taken by EKAB ambulance to Attikon hospital. His state of health is assessed as rather serious.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the whereabouts of the hooligans, most of whom are said to be of Albanian origin.
