A gruesome incident occurred in Chalkis when a couple discovered a human skull in their rented house.
When they began to clean up, they found themselves “face to face” with a terrible find. According to lamiareport, when they removed the blanket from the bed, they saw a human skull and, frightened, immediately contacted the police.
Law enforcement officers immediately arrived at a 5-storey residential building on Gazepi Street and examined the premises, photographing the skull, which was sent for forensic anthropological examination.
During the investigation, it became known that until December last year, a 40-year-old Greek lived in this room, who was evicted for non-payment of rent. He told the police that he had left the room since the end of November and had no idea about any of the skulls.
The Chalcis security service is waiting for the results of the checks in order to continue the investigation and find out who owns the remains.
