Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, announced the talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias. The meeting will take place on February 18 in Moscow.
Zakharova announced the upcoming meeting of the foreign ministers of the two powers at a briefing on Wednesday:
“On February 18, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic will hold talks in Moscow. He will pay a working visit to Russia. The ministers will discuss the agreements that were reached during the talks between the President of our country and the Prime Minister of Greece in Sochi.”
The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the list of priority areas for the upcoming negotiations includes trade and investment, energy, transport, tourism and ensuring the epidemiological safety of citizens:
“There will be a thorough exchange of views on the international and regional agenda, with an emphasis on Russian proposals on the theme of the indivisibility of security.”
During the meeting, other important issues will also be considered: the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Cyprus settlement, the situation in the Middle East, North Africa and the Transcaucasus, interaction in multilateral formats is also expected, the newspaper writes. Greek Reporter.
