ΑΠΕ correspondent Nikos Katsikas found dead in Egyptian capital

Nikos Katsikas, correspondent for the Athens News Agency, was found dead in Cairo yesterday.

Statement by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

Yesterday, Nikolaos Katsikas, a correspondent for the Athens News Agency in Cairo, was found dead. He worked as a correspondent for ΑΠΕ and for several years collaborated with ERT in Cairo, with professionalism and a sense of duty. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere condolences to his family. Our consular offices are in constant contact with the competent Egyptian authorities.
