The Prime Minister announced a 13% reduction in ΕΝΦΙΑ in an emergency message on Wednesday morning 2 February.
According to the Prime Minister, in the context of the international energy crisis and the resulting price increase, the state continues to subsidize part of the increase in electricity bills and introduces from May 1 second minimum wage increase.
According to Kyriakos Mitsotakis regarding ΕΝΦΙΑ, 8 out of 10 citizens will see a reduction in property tax.
“Today, the government is embarking on a bold new permanent ENFIA cut of 13%. Thus, this exceeds his commitment to a general reduction in property tax in the amount of 30%. The decision is fair for society and beneficial for the economy. Property owners will now have to pay 860,000,000 euros less every year than in 2018. And 350,000,000 less than in 2022.
The government’s full real estate plan will be presented shortly by the finance minister.
