Fire in a bus full of passengers

In Pallini this morning, a ΚΤΕΛ bus on route 314 “Στ. Δουκ. Πλακεντίας-Ραφήνα”.

The bus was on Marathonos Avenue when a power failure led to a fire. There were passengers on the bus, however, according to Open, all of them managed to safely leave the vehicle.

To extinguish the fire, 7 fire brigades and 3 units of equipment promptly arrived at the scene of the incident. The OASA is investigating the incident and a three-member commission has been set up to investigate its causes.
