Attiki Odos: how trapped cars will be removed

In a new announcement, after numerous complaints from drivers stuck on Attiki Odos due to Elpis’ bad weather, the management company announced where citizens can get their cars previously left on the roadway.

According to the announcement:

Drivers whose vehicles have been left behind at the following sites of Attica Odos may, after consulting the Fire Brigade on 199, pick up their vehicles:

From Kifisias Avenue to Vrilissia Tunnel down towards the airport. Citizens can go to the periphery of Imittos, and from there to Katechaki Ave., to the military hospitals. On the route from Katechaki Avenue, through the Imittos ring road in the direction of the airport and in the direction of Rafina-Pikermi at exit Y8. At toll points (Pallini to Katechaki Avenue and to military hospitals). At toll points (from Piania to Kantza), in the direction of Elefsina.

Από Λ. Κηφισίας έως τη σήραγγα Βριλησσίων στο ρεύμα προς Αεροδρόμιο. Μπορούν να βγουν στην Περιφερειακή Υμηττού και από εκεί στη Λ. Κατεχάκη προς τα Στρατιωτικά Νοσοκομεία. Στη διαδρομή από τη Λεωφόρο Κατεχάκη μέσω της Περιφερειακής Υμηττού στην κατεύθυνση προς Αεροδρόμιο και στην κατεύθυνση προς Ραφήνα-Πικέρμι στην έξοδο Υ8. Από τα διόδια Παλλήνης έως τη Λεωφόρο Κατεχάκη (και προς τα Στρατιωτικά Νοσοκομεία). Από τα διόδια Παιανίας έως την Κάντζα στο ρεύμα προς Ελευσίνα.

The Attiki Odos concern indicates that the roads remain closed, and attempts are being made to clear snow and remove abandoned cars in areas:

On the section from Vrilissia to Anfussa down towards the airport. On the section from Kantz to Marathonos Avenue towards Elefsina. On the western branch section of the Imittos peripheral road (from Kontopefkos Tunnel to Vrilissia Tunnel).

Drivers remaining in their vehicles are requested to contact the Attiki Odos Traffic Center on 424.
