Thousands of citizens who received a one-time J&J shot were quite surprised and saddened to find that their vaccination certificate had expired due to a government decision effective February 1st.
A significant gap in the decision of the competent ministry leaves unprotected (with an expired certificate) a huge number of people vaccinated with the Johnson & Jonhson vaccine, despite the seven-month validity period published in the FEC Government Gazette.
In particular, several citizens who have made Johnson & Johnson report that they have problems with the vaccination certificate, as it is no longer accepted where it is required to be presented, although less than 7 months have passed since it was issued.
However, sources from the Ministry of Digital Government told News4health.gr that “the original certificate of the people who made Johnson & Johnson is valid for three months in accordance with the instructions of the Vaccination Committee,” confirming reports from people who emphasize that they cannot use it. This means that until the booster dose is given, they will not be able to use their vaccination certificate.
