The World Health Organization says that there is no evidence for the need for a booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine for adolescents and children, this fact has not yet been scientifically proven.
This was announced by Dr. Sumiya Swaminathan at a briefing on January 18, informs RIA-Novosti:
“There is no scientific evidence that healthy teenagers and healthy children need booster doses.”
According to the WHO scientist, the issue of distribution of booster doses will be discussed during an emergency meeting of the WHO expert group on immunization, which will be held this week.
